Community Building

The Pudgy Penguins community is the core and heart of the brand. In the beginning, the community had a very prominent presence on Twitter and Discord, with many highly influential people in the crypto industry. Over time, as more people joined, communication developed on more platforms, such as Telegram and WeChat, and the community became more diversified. 

Within the community, there are clubs that have formed around different interests, passions, and regions. These clubs are self-motivated and make fantastic inner hubs for people to join and participate in. Some of the prominent clubs are Pengu Princesses, Pudgylicious, Pudgy Gaming, and Pudgy Fitness.

The region-based clubs include Pudgy Asia, Pudgy Europe, and Pudgy China.

How can one keep up with community events?

There are plenty of official and community-led events, and staying up to date with things posted on multiple social media platforms can be tough.

Content Creation

We view social media marketing as a vital key to becoming a household brand.

Through Pudgy GIFs and consistent Instagram and TikTok content strategies, we’ve been receiving positive feedback and seeing growth and that show no signs of slowing. The goal is to spread positivity and joy to as many people as possible.

Also, whenever we can, we use penguins from the NFT collection in these projects, because our holders love to see their collectibles go viral.

IP Development

Since Pudgy Penguins’ inception, everyone has recognized their potential to go viral and global. We believe the IP of something is only as good as the utilization of it, so we have tapped into our own connections with major distributors, brands, and companies with the main purpose of offering more opportunities to our holders. In addition to reaching out to our own network, we formed a partnerships team to assist in the process of growing the Pudgy Penguins brand through collaborations and community involvement.  

With that being said, we are one of the first NFT companies to offer major licensing opportunities to their holders.

The licensing opportunities and brand partnerships to date include: Pudgy Toys with PMI Toys, Pudgy Penguins Children’s Books with Green Kids Club, and NonFungibleFilms animated films.

The broad vision is to allow the masses to enjoy Pudgy Penguins in a physical state while softly introducing them to the Web3 side of the brand at the same time. We’ve already started showcasing Pudgy Toys at events where the top retailers, buyers, and media come together to explore the latest opportunities in the toy space.
